Members of the Kent Branch have enjoyed visits to two historical sites during the last quarter of  2016

These were at Eltham Palace in London SE9 by courtesy of English Heritage  and Hever Castle  in the Kent coutryside by courtesy of Hever Trust

The meeting at Hever Castle was our Christmas Social Get to Together and the Castle rooms were all given a Pantomime Theme and we enjoyed a traditional Turkey dinner in the Restraurant

Our meetings have been attended by Associate Members and we feel the benefit of their  joining us over coffee, the tours and lunch when they can meet with our members and talk about their services in  relaxed settings

One of our objectives for 2016 was to increase the membership of the Branch and whereas we had two new members over the period  we still feel we need to explore other ways to attract GTOs into AGTO and the Kent Branch   The AGTO ambassodor  scheme will clearly help our endeavours and we are planning to invite GTOs from various Kent based organisations to our meeting in 2017
